With summer brings lots of swimming and sun.  My hair always is so brittle and dry by the end of the season.  This summer, I am hoping to beat the bad hair with this Creme de Coco Hair Masque by Bumble and Bumble.  I was given a sample with a purchase from Blue Mercury and not only does my hair feel so silky after I use it, it smells so good – like a trip to the beach.  Also, if you deal with tangly hair, check out this Tangle Teezer.  They featured it on the Today Show and it is supposed to help detangle wet and dry hair while giving your head a little head massage.

Today the Women’s Health Advisory Council of Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, in partnership with Knauz Auto Group, will host its annual Drive to SurviveWell.  This event is an evening dedicated to the success and advancements in Cancer Care Services at Northwestern Lake Forest.

Tickets are $25 each and may be reserved online until NOON today and will be sold at the door too. All proceeds support the SurviveWell program at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, which provides supportive services for cancer survivors.  Enjoy refreshments, live music and the Knauz collection of classic cars.
