Fall Folliage. Holiday Card. Family Reunion. New Baby. Happy Home. Beloved Pet. These are only some of the special occasions where families and friends gather together for photographs. The reasons are endless. The photography needs to be memorable.
Red Brooks Brothers pants on boys could not be any cuter. Adore the ribbon belt, navy blazer and desert boots. Red and Navy stripes on a perfect grey sweatshirt (I want that for myself!). Love it all!
Check out Brooks Brother’s Blog – it’s full of fun facts and tips for dressing your favorite Rogues and Gentlemen. Great thoughts on Etiquette and Style. Observations on all things guy. Really great posts on things like Seven Recipes Every Gentleman Should Know By Heart.
Well done, Brooks!
Brooks Brother’s Fall line for little girls could not be cuter. Adore the charcoals, navy blues and tomato reds. Military buttons, peter pan collars and quilted toppers. We are so excited that Brooks has updated their look for everyone in the family. Especially nice to have another option for our little girls.
Keep your eyes out for our favorite picks for the boys!
Kids belts can be tricky. What three year old knows how to unbuckle? Especially during a mad dash for the potty? Kids belts also have a tendencey to look like little versions of a man’s belt.
That’s why we love Myself Belts. Each belt is tiny, the perfect size for little waists. Each is made with sweet fabrics like grosgrain ribbon and classic canvas. Everything can be personalized which…well, everything looks better personalized, right? The best news is that kids can take them on and off with one hand! The velco closure makes them totally doable for little hands.
Love them with jeans, khaki’s and cords. They are simple enough to wear with a school uniform too.
Thank you Myself Belts for making kids belts look like they belong to kids and for making that race to the potty a little less panicky.
Everyone has a favorite cookie… these are mine! I just cannot get enough of them. They are like an Animal Cracker meets Butter Cookie. So crispy and delicious and come in three flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon and even Cheddar Cheese. And, look at the amazing packaging! There is literally a package for every occasion. What little boy or girl wouldn’t love a Fire Engine or Train packed with delicious cookies? So cute as the center piece on a themed birthday party table or to give out as favors! But, these cookies aren’t just for kids. My kids have to hide these cookies from me. I challenge you to eat just one box!
Market Square Food Company is also a local company, founded in 1982 by James L. Lockhart and his son David, residents of Lake Forest, IL. Their goal was to provide a superior food product packaged in a unique upscale format. The company has grown steadily over the years because of a singular dedication to maintaining both food quality and their competitive advantage in package design. Mission Accomplished!
To order these delicious cookies and to find out more about Market Square Food Company check out the site here. If you can’t wait for your order and need to purchase some right now, you can find them at Barnes and Noble Old Orchard and Lincoln Park, Nordstrom E-Bars, Fox & Obel, The Daily Grind LB, Food Stuffs and HomeGoods.
We love anything needlepoint. These darling baby shoes from Distinguished Manors are perfect for keeping little toes covered and looking cute. We particularly love the red white and blue sailboats, lobsters and crabs for around the 4th of July. Wouldn’t these make a perfect gift for a summer baby?
I am a huge fan of Kayce Hughes. I fall in love with every dress and blouse every season. Can’t get enough of the perfectly sized gingham checks and vintage florals. Perfect to throw on every day with flip flops they are a great length to run to the store, watch a t’ball game or sit around the pool in the summer heat.
Kayce Hughes can do no wrong in our book. We will keep posting about her line but in the meantime please take a peek at her darling children’s things. You will be amazed at the beautiful images on her site.
There is nothing better than a silhouette. Crisp image. Clean lines. Contrast colors.
We especially love Maggie Meiner’s silhouettes because, like our children, they have a personality that is big and bold. Each silhouette is 30 x 40. They are all printed on digital chromogenic paper and you can choose your colors.
They look beautiful in a bedroom or hallway but we particularly love them prominently placed in a living room, family room or kitchen. Wouldn’t it be fun to have them in a dining room too? Super quirky and a chic way to remind everyone that family comes first in your house.
We love Maggie Meiner’s silhouettes for Father’s Day.
